Meet Matthew DeMaria.
Owner/Operator, Licensed Plumber
Plumbing has been a significant part of my life, and my wife and I are blessed with three wonderful children and a dog. We cherish our family traditions and memories. Vita Plumbing is the name of my company, with “vita” meaning “life” in Italian.
I was brought up in a traditional Italian household. In my senior year of high school, I joined the co-op program and found myself drawn to the plumbing industry. I was unsure about what to expect, but I had always been interested in this trade. A small family-owned business welcomed me, and I grew within the company, often being referred to as the kid. They hired me after I graduated from high school, and at the age of 18, I began my apprenticeship. I went on to study plumbing at Humber College, graduating and obtaining my plumbing license at the age of 23. Over the years, I have worked on many plumbing projects, from residential service to high-rise and commercial plumbing. I have learned many different styles and techniques by working alongside a variety of plumbers. Although I always knew that I wanted to open my own plumbing company, I was hesitant due to my young family. One day, I decided to take the plunge and start my own business. Since then, I have never looked back.
