Outdoor Plumbing
In the warmer months, we use our hoses a lot to water our plants or wash our cars. Make sure these don’t leak, causing wasted water and puddling near your foundation. Trust our licensed plumbers to remove and replace an existing hose tap.
We also offer outdoor oasis options such as relocating or creating a new hose tap with warm water for your convenience. Want to add an outdoor kitchen with a sink? This needs proper water hook-up and drainage; we can help with that. How about a shower by your pool or hot tub? That is no problem. We can do that for you, too!
Let us help you create the backyard of your dreams.
Clogs
When a plunger is not doing the trick, give the pros a call.
Clogged drains, sinks and showers are mostly due to a build up of hair, dirt, grease, soap and other chemicals which reduced the flow of water. Don’t pour drain chemicals down your drains or toilet, this can erode the pipes in your home and make things worse. An ongoing issue may lead to floods and leaks. Instead call our licensed plumbers who have the right tools for the job.
KITEC Pipe Removal & Replacement
If you have KITEC pipes throughout your home, it is highly recommended to have them removed and replaced before they cause larger issues. The process of removing and replacing the pipes in your home can only be done by a licensed professional who will properly remove every pipe and replace it with reliable piping materials. We work closely with contractors for a stress-free process, as we understand it can become overwhelming when your walls are being cut open. We will explain step by step the process of removing the pipes and map out where your new pipes will go.
What is KITEC?
It was the most popular option for pipe installations between 1995 and 2007 as it was cheaper and easier to install than copper pipes. Unfortunately home owners started experiencing problems including erosion issues to the pipes and brass fittings. The pipes also started to burst due to the expansion and contraction of the aluminum and plastic layers of the pipe. This caused many home owners lots of damage to their homes with floods and water damage. This is why if your home was built between those years and suspect you have KITEC pipes, it is highly advised to have them removed before they cause extensive damage to your home. It is most cost effective to remove the pipes before this happens as the pipes will need to be replaced anyway when they fail. But at least your not dealing with the damages of a water leak as well.
Water Filtration Systems
When you want safe and clean water for consumption from your tap, a water filtration system is the way to go. It eliminates added chemicals in the water as well as bacteria, viruses and fungi that can linger in your pipes. Have our licensed professionals install a new system for you. If you need one replaced, we can do that too.
Signs you need a system installed or changed:
- You experiencing diarrhea, stomach aches or vomiting after consumption
- Water smells funny
- Water is cloudy or coloured
- Water tastes bad
Pipe Fixes & Replacements
Common Problems:
- Poor installation or connections
- Age of Pipes
- Tree roots
- Clogged with hair, dirt, soap scum and more
- Frozen pipes caused the line to split.
Toilets

We also install bidet seats and sprayers.
Showers & Bathtubs
Shower and bathtub leaks can be tricky as water can cause damages around, behind and even underneath. Sometimes it’s the shower cartridge, faucet, drain or improper seals. Our licensed plumbers will find the origin of the leak and fix it before it causes more damage. We will dicuss removal and repair of any pipes and fixtures for you to make the best decision for your family.
Custom showers are the most common upgrade in your home right now. Our knowledgeable plumbers can install your new shower head, faucets and even steam showers.
Many people are also replacing their old steel tubs. We remove and replace with a new bathtub and make sure all your drains line up just right.
Shut off Valves
Shut-off valves are important for isolating a certain area. When they do not work, you will need to shut off the water to your whole hose using your main shut-off valve. This can be a pain for a simple fix. Have a licensed plumber come to inspect your valves and replace them with a newer model. We also work closely with the city if your main shut-off valve doesn’t work and replace that for you, too, if needed.
Sump Pumps
Sump pumps are important to keep water away from your home. Make sure it is running properly before a basement flood. Call our licensed plumbers to maintain, inspect or replace your sump pump. We also do new installs. Ask us about having the option of a battery backup system that works in case of a power failure.
Renovations

We will then return when ready to install your new fixtures and connect all the drains.
New Rough-in
We can relocate or reconfigure your existing kitchen or bathroom or add a new one to your basement.

Testimonials
I first heard about him through the Oakville Dads Facebook group, where he came highly recommended. Now I understand why.
I had a tricky dishwasher hose issue under my sink: the appliance needed a 3/4" connection, but I had to keep using the 1/2" hose until new parts arrived. Matthew came up with the perfect solution — upgrading the wye to 3/4" now, while using a reducer to keep the 1/2" hose working in the meantime.
The biggest challenge was a stubborn rubber piece glued to the old hose. Instead of pushing for a costly replacement, Matthew carefully worked with me to slice it off. It took patience, but he saved the hose and solved the problem.
With 17+ years of experience, his professionalism, problem-solving, and honesty really shine. He’s also very pleasant to talk to, which made the whole process easier. I’d absolutely recommend Vita Plumbing for any job — big or small.
But is he expensive? Vita Plumbing is well within range and even better than some! You won't regret this one folks👍.

Why it’s important to hire a licensed plumber.
At Vita Plumbing, we take pride in our craft by completing the job right the first time. You can have peace of mind knowing that you have hired a licensed plumber with the necessary skills and experience to do the job correctly rather than someone who may be less expensive.
Hiring a licensed plumber means that they have undergone years of education and apprenticeship to acquire the knowledge and expertise they possess. The plumbing work completed will be lawful and in compliance with the current building codes and regulations, ensuring the highest quality of work. A licensed plumber has also received the proper training to diagnose, install and repair plumbing systems. Additionally, all plumbers must pass a criminal background check so you can feel secure when they enter your home.
Hiring an unlicensed plumber can be risky as they may not guarantee their work, cut corners, and cause further problems, which may require additional repairs. This can put your family and home in danger of further water damage or flooding.
